Save the Date: Annual Research Update & Cold Climate Conference, February 25-26

The 2025 Annual UMN Grape Breeding & Enology Research Update will take place from 9am-12pm on Wednesday, February 26th at the Water Street Inn in Stillwater, MN. This year's event will held in conjunction with the MGGA's Annual Cold Climate Conference (CCC), on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Registration for the Annual Research Update on the 26th is free, but there is a registration fee associated with the CCC. 

This Saturday: Annual Grape Field Day at the HRC

Free event: the Annual Grape Field Day is this Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 from 10am to 12pm. The open-house style event will feature research updates, grape tastings, and the opportunity to connect with graduate students, researchers, wine maker, and head grape breeder.

Save the Date: Annual Grape Field Day Scheduled for September 14, 10am-12pm

The Annual Grape Field Day has been scheduled for Sept. 14, 2024 from 10am to 12pm! The Field Day will showcase the latest research on cold-hardy grapevines, pest and disease management for your vineyard, best practices in winemaking, and offer tastes of over 50 varieties of grape. 

February 20: Annual Grape Research Update

Mark your calendars for 10am-1pm on Tuesday, February 20th. The University of Minnesota Grape Breeding & Enology program will be hosting our annual Grape Research Update at the Dakota County Extension Office, with a hybrid option.
