Ph.D., University of Minnesota, Plant Biological Science 2017

Research Area

My graduate research focused on tropical plants and plant-insect interactions. In my previous research, I used DNA to build phylogenies of tropical plants and identify stem nesting materials by native bees. In 2019, I started working with the Grape Breeding and Enology Lab, where my research focuses on grape breeding, phylloxera resistance, and assessing the quality of cold-hardy table grapes in our program.
