Join in celebrating the fall grape harvest with an open house hosted by the University of Minnesota Grape Breeding and Enology project.  This event will feature informal demonstrations of trellis systems used in Minnesota, a refresher on grape pests and diseases, and sampling the diversity of grape varieties and breeding lines in development. You can learn about the different research projects being conducted.  Graduate student Dominique Ebbenga will give information about spotted-wing drosophila research being conducted across the state. Enologist Drew Horton will be available to answer questions about the wine making process.
