Laise brings an extensive experience in grape breeding, vineyard management, quality control, and development of new protocols for grapes. She has worked with geneticists from Brazil, South Africa, and United States, and has helped many growers across the world to introduce new varieties of grapes to the market. She’s a very respected agronomist who specializes in table grapes.
Laise began working at the University of Minnesota Grape Breeding Program in 2016 where she helps the university to develop seedless table grapes using embryo rescue and conventional breeding techniques.
